1.Do you have the right equipment/knowledge to solve the problem?

2. Look at the problem before you begin. (read the problem, what is it asking?)

3. Reach beyond your comfort level, some steps may be harder than others!

4. Some steps may seem small, but they are important! don't skip!

5. Hold tight! You are almost there!

6. The end is in sight, keep pushing through!

7.Check past work for any mistakes.

8. You did it! Celebrate your accomplishments!

9. Put a label on, and then it is all downhill!

10. Feel proud in all of your accomplishments!

Sometimes when you are problem solving you may feel stuck, or think you have lost your way

You may be on a different path than some else, that is ok. Don't forget to ask for help if you need it.

Don't be afraid to put yourself out there and take a risk, even if it seems scary.

Sometimes you will change the way you look at things, you may need to change direction to solve the problem.

Don't Rush......

Take your time to think, so you know you will do it right the first time.

For when you know you did it right, the final step seems so easy!

Sometimes in problem solving you are going to be the support for someone else's climb.

But you both can share in the success!

As a team we all can reach the summit of our math challenges!!!!!
